OIL SPILL DISPERSANT

DESCRIPTION :
UPS F.817  is formulated for cleaning and degreasing oil and grease on docks, piling, walkways and other areas. Effective for dispersing floating oil slicks by making oil or grease water soluble.
UPS F.817 differs from ordinary oil slick dispersants which merely effect a short time emulsion or sinks the oil the bottom of the sea. In either instances, no permanent solution resulted.
UPS F.817 with its EMULSIFYING AGENT breaks up oil, disperses the emulsion away into the sea. UNLIKE ordinary oil slick dispersants. UPS F. 817 neither leaves no messy scrum on water surface or cause oil to sink to the sea bed. UPS F. 817 is also AN EXCELENT bilge cleaner.

PROPERTIES :
Contains super solvent emulsifier pH is neutral and is non corrosion, non toxic. Has a high – flash point. Long shelf life of up to 5 years if kept / stored in original sealed containers. Does not contain any chlorinated hydrocarbon, benzene, carbon tetrachloride or phenol. It is biodegradable.

AREAS OF APPLICATION :

1. For degreasing oil or grease on any surface.
2. Most ideal chemical for fighting oil spills both on land and on open sea.
3. Renovates oily bilge’s.

DIRECTION FOR USE :
A. OIL SPILLAGES :

1. Spray UPS F. 817 through a pressure ejector nozzle from drum to fire hoses.
2. The nozzle can set the correct concentration of dispersant into the sea water.
3. Add advantages of this system is the high water velocity much improves agitation and emulsification. 

B. OIL & GREASE REMOVAL ON SURFACE.
spray UPS F. 817  over the area, and soak for few minutes to allow emulsification of oil and grease, then rinse with water. It can also be mopped or brushed, if desired to remove any oil or grease present.

C. BILGE CLEANER.
UPS F. 817 is an effective bilge cleaner. Pour UPS F. 817 into bilge to be cleaned using 1 : 5 parts ratio. Let stand for period depending on degree of oil residue in the bilge. Flush the bilge with water to remove chemicals.
